This website is dedicated to you, as an effort to help you get to know us and what we do here to serve God and each other, and to reach our world with the wonderful life-giving truths contained in God's Word.

I am thrilled that you have visited our homepage! My wife, Lynne, and I are settling in to our new church home here at Pilgrim Rest and want everyone to know how happy we are to have a place to serve in a pastoral capacity again. Pilgrim Rest is a very friendly church that is excited to be worshipping and reaching out in our community. If you are new to this area, please come and visit with us! If you are a longtime resident of this area, and have visited Pilgrim Rest in the past, then now is the time to come and visit again. I want our church to be an open, low stress, and meaningful house of worship for all members and visitors. I don't want people to feel pressured when they come to our sanctuary. I want everyone to feel a deep since of joy to come and sing and worship. I pray that we may all have the same attitude as David in Psalm 122, "I was glad when they said to me, let us go to the house of the Lord." One of our members recently said to me that sunday was their favorite day of the week. My prayer is that God will use us to instill that attitude on everyone who comes through our doors.
