I am humbled and honored that God has allowed me to preach his word for over 22 years! It is also a privilege to be at Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church as your pastor. There has been a long line of faithful men who have filled this office at this church, and I want you to know that I take this calling seriously and want our church to continue to move forward and grow. I want to continue to plant and water in this community and wait on God to give the increase! We continue to carry God's word into this next decade by proclaiming the words of Jesus, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand." As people are saved, baptized, and are learning God's word, I pray that our church will be a great example and source of instruction in making disciples of Jesus Christ. My wife, Lynne, and I covet your prayers as we work here. We feel so fortunate to be able to serve in a church that is close to our home! In our prayers for God to use us, we never dreamed that God would open an opportunity for us at Pilgrim Rest. I am reminded of Paul's writing to the Philippian church, "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God", Philippians 4:6. This church is an answer to my prayer, and Lynne and I are thankful to be here.
