Note from Pastor Gunner McGathy:
Hi, my name is Gunner McGathy. I’ve been married to my wife, Alli, for three and a half years, and we live in East End with our three dogs—Honey, Huck, and Hardy. I’m 28 years old and currently teach high school in the White Hall School District. In 2023, I surrendered to the gospel ministry, and I am truly grateful for the opportunity to serve as your next pastor. One of my favorite verses has always been John 11:35, because it reminds us of the humanity of Jesus Christ—something we can so easily forget. My favorite Bible story is the prodigal son, because it shows us that no matter how far we may wander, we are never too far gone to turn back to God.
